Hello Rick,
Tim delivered the "Tim Allan Special" today which I have been looking forward to ever since we ordered
them. I know now why I have been such an advocate for Richelieu Banjos. It is the sound. Both Tim's and mine have the incredible sound only produced by a Richelieu!
We played both of them together and they sounded soooooo sweet! It is great to have a banjo that has the exciting look of the new "Tim Allan" and also the fantastic sound of a Richelieu. I must tell you that mine looks better than Tim's-ha ha, only because I truly like the dark rosewood and the Gaboon ebony on the fret board. Your inlays in the fret board are extraordinary, and the eagle on resonator offset by the dark rosewood is spectacular!. After all this, my only question is that since I now have three Richelieu's, can I be placed in the "players" of Richelieu's?
Thanks again for a job well done on the Tim Allan Special and also what you did for the "Buddy Wachter Vox". Thanks again, Bill Lowe Punta Gorda, Florida

I received what you referred to as my "Left Hand Beauty" banjo on December 31, in time to celebrate the New Year. I must
say it is, to me, just that. I must say it certainly exceeded all expectation, in appearance and tone and I am enjoying it immensely.
It is very seldom that I buy an item sight unseen, but I feel
that in this instance, that this was certainly justified. Being a great believer in "made in the U.S.A", I am glad that this product was available and that I was fortunate enough to take
advantage of this availability.
Sincerely Yours,
Edward L. Morgan Hagerstown, Md.

I'm writing to tell you how absolutely delighted I am with the Golden Eagle five string I bought from you recently. It's the best
looking and sounding banjo it has ever been my pleasure to play in over thirty years of performing, recording, teaching, and writing about the five string banjo.
As you know, I play some
classical and melodic style, and a lot of folk, old time, and bluegrass. My Golden Eagle's tone, sustain, punch, balance, and power make it ideal for all styles of playing, and it is a most
unique banjo in that it plays all styles marvelously. The Golden Eagle gives me phenomenal control over its beautiful tone - from subtle and poignant (yes, poignant), to hard driving brilliance
with an incredibly beautiful percussive underlay. It not only enhances my playing, it is so responsive that it sets a standard for me to work toward.
Not only is the sound everything that
could be desired, the beauty and craftsmanship of the Golden Eagle are
equally superb. I have played a lot of different types of banjos through the years, and, in my opinion, there can not possibly be another banjo even approaching the Golden Eagle for all around sound, performance, beauty, and craftsmanship. Thank you for making such a truly marvelous instrument, and please give my compliments to your very fine craftsmen.
Sincerely,
Jeff Yates
P.S. I mentioned everything except play-ability, and that, too, is excellent.

Beautiful, well made, excellent craftsmanship, classy that's just the carrying case that I'm describing. As for the instrument,
well, words can not adequately express my feelings and satisfaction.
I am totally thrilled with my Richelieu Golden Bell tenor banjo. I cannot walk past the room where it resides without picking
it up and playing something on it. I play most of my repertoire on the inside three strings and the tone never ceases to amaze me. Not only does the sound hold a particular thrill for me but the ease
with which my fingers seem to move is most gratifying. Whether this is due to the finish which never gets sticky, the taper of the neck or combination of a number of factors, I do not know. One thing
I can tell you -that anyone who has played the instrument comments on the feel, playability and tone. The quality of your product speaks for itself. Based on my own experience, I would not hesitate to
recommend Richelieu banjos to anyone.
Kindest personal regards,
Roy Hill

The quality and performance of the Golden Eagle Plectrum Banjo that you handcrafted for me is truly
outstanding. The building specifications and adjustments that I requested were well satisfied. The darker walnut toning gives this banjo a striking appearance, its as beautiful as it sounds.
The
clarity of tone over the entire fingerboard and ease of playing is unequaled. It is a great performer and stands out in a crowd. thank you for the care and consideration you took in building this banjo
for me.

After struggling for over 50 years, playing inferior fretted instruments, I can honestly say all my wishes came tru now that I have
my new Richelieu Eagle Banjo.
Thank you very much for preserving the quality of the All American Banjo. I am proud to have one.
Sincerely,

Thank God for Richelieu banjos!! It is always a pleasure to deal with a company that knows what a plectrum banjo should sound like
and then not only be able to produce such an instrument but within a reasonable time frame and price with outstanding results. In short, you know what you are doing and how to do it.
The Custom
Golden Eagle I ordered from you is of the first rank in execution of workmanship. The tome is exceptionally "rich" in overtones with a beautiful sustaining quality I feel is unmatched by other
manufacturers of plectrum banjos today. I have played and owned many top-of-the-line plectrum banjos which were made in the last twenty years by various American builders and this instrument beats them
all in every department. This is one "hot" banjo!
Please extend my best personal wishes to everyone at Banjos by Richelieu for their efforts.
Sincerely,
Joseph Weidlich

I received the banjo on 27 (Tuesday) in perfect condition. You have done a wonderful job for me.
It's hard to describe the
emotion I feel when I play such a fine instrument. I've played banjos all my life (and my father before me) but have never played one with the fine tone, action, response as this one.
Thank you
for all your attention and Tender Loving Care.

Dear Rick,
I'm really enjoying writing this letter to you, thanking you for the production of my "lovely"
Instrument. What a surprise it was when I opened the case. It made me feel proud like a dream come true. I thought to myself "what quality and precision", plus the beauty of the
banjo it self. Glad I placed my order when I did. It really is something special to me.
Just a word about the Banjo: The MasterMute is a brilliant set-up. It gives a good range
of sound variation, something to experiment with. I like the feel of the neck, a lot nicer than my 5-String. The Pearl work from top to bottom is excellent. The banjo sounds as if it's coming
to life, sounds rich, exciting.
Once again a big thanks, much appreciated.
